RCSPS 16th Turnover Ceremony

The Rotary Club of San Pedro South held its 16th Turn-over Ceremony last Friday, June 15, 2012 at Pacita Convention Center, Pacita Complex I, San Pedro, Laguna, with Dir. Bebot Melgar as Emcee. EP Yolly Montifar handed over the leadership to Incoming Peace Builder President Rey Bongao for RY 2012-2013.

In her speech, EP Yolly thanked everyone who helped her during her term and gave out Presidential Citations to Rotarians who actively participated during RY 2011-2012. There was also a surprise tribute to EP Yolly in which Rotarians handed her flowers as they gave their message to the outgoing president. Incoming Assistant Governor for Area 1 Group 1, PP Resty Ramos, the Group Study Exchange (GSE) Team Leader, had invited his team to the event. They presented an AVP about their learning experiences while they were in the USA. Being PP Resty’s birthday the next day, June 16, the GSE Team prepared an AVP tribute to him. The gathering was adjourned by Incoming Peace Builder President Rey.
